Keeping close to his clanmates the tom sniffed the air. He could scent a few pieces of prey nearby. He looked at Thrushfur. "Yeah this is perfect. I smell 1 to 3 pieces of prey around here. Maybe we can try to at least get one each.", he meowed. 3 would be great, but it all really depended. Birdblaze looked around, using his nose before scenting a faint smell. He followed it until it grew stronger. Down was a hole. It smelled strongly of mice. Maybe it was a nest? Birdblaze turned to the other two. "I think I found a nest. Someone can dig a little and maybe it will draw something out.", he meowed. Hopefully there was more than one.

Firepetal

Firepetal nodded as she buried her catch. She then approached hole and caught a big whiff of mice, in fact she could hear little scrambles in the dirt. Her eyes gleamed and she started digging, flinging bits of grass out into the air like rain, mud splattering onto her fiery pelt. She snorted, shaking the mud out of her head, before digging. Eventually, she saw a mouse tail disappearing. She growled and fished it out of the ground and sliced it’s neck. She purred was satisfaction. “There’s more down there!” she mewed.
