Alderstep slowly followed behind. He liked this better. Just his apprentice doing what he said, not complaining, and doing alright. He paused on a nearby branch, flicking his tail in contemplation. Something had reminded him of his
conversation with Rabbitchatter. He turned his green eyes back to Morningpaw and he sighed, somehow knowing that Rabbitchatter would be either disappointed or nagging him. He really wished she were more practical. Maybe it'd be easier that way. Really, he was doing the right thing by pushing her. Alderstep shook his pelt and focused on his apprentice.
