Pikestar remained visibly interested in what Slatestripe had to say through his whole spiel, allowing the tom to remain in a particularly good mood. Even better, the oriental leader approved his ideas!
He wants to propose it at the next Clan meeting!
Slatestripe tried his best to contain his excitement, but his paws began kneading the floor of Pikestar's den. "That would be great, Pikestar! Thank you! I'm more than happy to help with any of these preparations or with any actual ceremonies. I know you and the shields are quite busy."
Perhaps he should come around more often to voice his ideas to Pikestar. Maybe my idea about killing a pike by slamming it against a stone? No, that might still be too radical.
