He looked at his mate as Dawnkit ran to him. "You could help dig out a den" he mewed, starting to dig. "Here would be fine. But first, let me check on the kits." He said, padding over to the queen. "Lay down and let me feel your stomach."

As sharpfang padded over to the queen, dawnkit looked around and saw long grass, ivy, and some flowers that were safe. She grabbed as much as she could, along with some moss and put them down for the queen to lay on. "Lay on this!" She chirped

Leopardfang nodded and started digging. She rolled her eyes when Sharpfang said that he wanted to check her kits. "I'm fine," she tried to argue when her kits kicked again, and the pain in her belly increased to where she could feel it nagging herself. She sighed in defeat and passed over to the nest Dawnkit made. She laid down, watching her mate.
