Shadowfur had decided that the warmer weather meant it was a perfect time for an evening workout. He headed out on his own, longing for some peace and quiet given all of the recent chaos.
Unfortunately, that was not to be. His fur stood up on end as the lifeless body of a young cat came into his view. Bounding over, his heart sank as he recognized the young cat as a Clanmate: Willowpaw.
The cat’s body was bloody. Setting his jaw, Shadowfur leaned forward to inspect her more closely. His claws reflexively slid out as he recognized the marks of cat teeth and claws. Dammit.
Grabbing the body by the scruff, he began to drag it back to camp.
