Mintbranch whispered to the she-cat. "I'll get tree" he nodded up to the mate of the bird she was stalking. He slipped onto a low branch and slipped up the tree stealthy. Balancing with his hind paws he went reached up and caught his bird. Making sure there was no noise as he clamped his own jaws around the birds. He snapped its neck softly and looked down to Cloversun. Nodding to the bird with a small wink. He'd caught the mate, Cloversun would have to be quick now that the mate wouldn't be responding to the others call. Mintbranch slipped down the tree and crouched over the dead bird. He looked back at Cloversun, admiring her crouch and her calm but focused eyes. She was a remarkably pretty cat might he add. Perhaps a small crush is all he had, probably just him admiring her...a bit to much. Mintbranch looked back at the bird.
