Goldenpaw was pretty sure he could smell trouble. Seriously, it was like practically in his blood. It took one to know one, wasnt that the saying? Anyways, a certain kitten had caught his interest. So, like any sane cat would, he just sat there. And stared. Waiting to see what she would do. He noticed the mouse at her paws, along with a mystery round object near it. Something about it seemed... oddly familiar though. He squinted, and yup. He had zero training, but even he knew what that color meant. That, right there, was a deathberry.

"Hey, lets uh, not do that" he nearly yelled across the clearing, getting up and dashing over to snatch up the berry. He wouldnt let an itty bitty kitty be a murderer. He also noticed Sundust trying to handle it, "c'mon man, you gotta be firm with her. For all we know she could be turing into a kitty death monster" he said to the medicine cat, scrunching his nose slightly.
