Just as she was about to snap at Pearlnight and Whisperwave, a large cat appeared behind her. It was the cat she considered to be a mother figure. Keeping Beetlekit close to her with her tail, she sent a scathing glare Whisperwaves way while listening to Lilycreek speak. She nosed Beetlekit, who was utterly frightened and cowering close to her, and gave him a little lick on the head. "You are very brave, little bug. As soon as you're an apprentice, I'll take you out hunting." She murmured to the young tom, hoping her calm words would help. Giving Briarkit a soft, thankful look, she nodded to Lilycreek.

She immediately brightened at the queens soft praise, her head dancing slightly in happiness. "Briarkit, do you want to sit with Beetlekit and I? I know you're mad at me, and that's okay. You don't have to talk to me, just sit." She whispered the question to the kit as to not make too much more commotion.
