The Calico lifted his head, ears angled forwards. "I've heard there's a rank above warrior, but still below deputy. I'm interested in that rank." he was blunt. He wanted action, and wanted a claw in if things went sideways. If this tom didn't rise to the heights he expected, he wanted to be the first to slit the throat. He'd lived through Evening, and all the other dissapointments since than. He'd be put 6 feet under if it happened once more.

"I'll be honest with you. I don't want the rank so I can boss other's around. It's to keep an eye on you." eyes narrowed as he flicked his tail. "I'm gettin sick of all this talk of being a great leader, doin amazin. All bark no bite, they had nothin to show for it. Spiderthroat eyed the Leader, there could be a likely chance his request was denied. It would solidify the greviances he already had, that he wasn't worth the merit or effort. On the other hand...it would get accepted. That would make his brows raise, if that were to happen.
