His sister? Alderstep's eyes widened a fraction before he resettled his expression. Well. There's that, too. Berryfrost has officially been added to his missing-but-is-still-in-the-clan list. Great cats, was that guilt he felt for always being an ass to her? It'd been so long since he spoke to her. "Berryfrost is somewhere. Who's missing is..." Which apprentice? Rabbit probably knew...Alderstep actually didn't know which one Rabbit would know. "...Morningpaw and Ghostpaw," he finished. And he never trained them that well, either. He didn't say anything else about the other cats despite Rabbit generalizing his question. It wasn't worth the thought.

In fact, every single cat he treated like trash (and sometimes less than) has gone missing. The only one left was Rabbit. Alderstep locked his eyes onto the other tom's tail. There had to be a lesson in this all. His stare intensified as if his gaze could keep Rabbit in ThunderClan forever. So, has this all turned him clingy? It has, and that dependence made Alderstep mentally nauseated.

Still. Here's one cat left, and Alderstep didn't repeat his mistakes. Not that often, at least. He'd have to make do with Rabbit and be "nicer" or something along those lines. "You should, uh, hold your friends or whatever close," the orange cat vaguely warned. He had no idea if Rabbit was missing some cats too, but maybe that advice could prevent it. Alderstep had no idea, though. For all he knew, it was the fact that he was Alderstep that made everyone he ever gave a chance to disappear.

He glanced at his clanmate's face, narrowing his eyes in suspicion. "What's wrong with you?" he asked bluntly. Ok, wow. That had not meant to come out so rudely. Alderstep was just curious because Rabbit just didn't feel like himself. The tom wasn't observant for nothing, and he could tell that something had to be up. Besides, he was sick of thinking about missing cats. He had better things to do.
