Cat sat in the Principal's Office, hands folded neatly over her pleated skirt. She had earlier received news from a higher-up student council member that a new student, Jessica Harmon, she believed the name to be, would require somebody to show her around Jameson's. So, Cat had offered to take the job. The teachers did offer extra credit for it, which was one of the main reasons she had agreed to do it. For the occasion, Cat had worn her bright ginger hair in a tight French braid down her back. Her green eyes were glued to the door, awaiting, almost dreading, the moment that the new student would arrive. She'd never helped a new student before, and she wanted to make a good impression.
