Wolfpaw padded into the den with, frankly, a ridiculous amount of moss tucked under his chin. It was the nice springy kind, collected from the Mossy Den with his mentor. He, of course, knew that it was intended for the queens and elders, but that didn’t stop the apprentice from stashing some away for his own use at a later time. He set the moss aside, taking a good look at what he had to work with. A few shiny pebbles from around camp, a pawful of small, soft feathers taken off of prey from the prey pile, and, the crown of his little collection, a large flight feather from a buzzard. He had somehow noticed it caught in a branch of the Thunderwillow nearly a week ago and kept an eye on it until the wind managed to send it fluttering to the ground.

First thing to do was the moss, and so he, with great care, set his pile of moss on top of his nest and began to mush it into the perfect shape. He adored his nest and the simple comfort it provided, one he had not had until he camp to ThunderClan, and he decided it was high time his nest looked as amazing as he thought it was. Previously he had a small dip in the ground he had dug out - soft, cool dirt hidden behind a pile of sharp rocks to give him some peace from the dogs that roamed his former sharpyard home. It was still mind-boggling to have the warm cozy little nest where he could actually keep the cool things he found and liked.

One the moss was in place, he lined it with some of the soft feathers and scattered the pebbles around the perimeter, purely for aesthetic reasons. Finally his beautiful buzzard feather - he knew exactly what he wanted to do with it. Inspired by the raven feather he had seen woven into the Suncat’s nest, Wolfpaw - his tongue sticking out with concentration - began to slowly work the feather through the bramble that made up the structure of his nest, albeit not very neatly. He was going to have the coolest nest ever.
