He simply snorted at er comment, stalking off to begin the hunt. He lifted his head to smell the air. Squirrel, the fur stood up on his spine as he dropped into a crouch. He placed slow careful steps as he walked towards the prey. All it took was one wrong step and he would have to chase. The step came, and the rodent attempted to climb a tree, but Aspenpaw, was of course faster. He reached out with his paws first, grasping at the creature, before delivering a killing bite with his teeth.

He began the walk back to Fallenflower when something else was brought to his attention. A small creature draped in brown fur, nipped at some of the herbs in the clearing. Killing two birds with one stone huh? The steps were basically the same, with less running, and at last he looked around for Fallenflower. "Hurry up or I'm leaving without you." He said in a flat, quiet tone, he didn't actually want em to hear that.
