The soft breeze carried a horde of mouthwatering scents his way, and the gangly humanoid couldn't help but crave for the very thing that kept him alive.
Flesh.
It didn't matter what type, just so long as it was once a living creature... and preferably if it was fresh. As much as he didn't want to harm others... he-he had to... if he didn't, he would die. And death scarred him more than anything.

Now that the thoughts of food had been remembered, a knawing ache began to chew at his stomach. First starting off as a dull pain, then it eventually turned to sharp knife-like stabs that pierced his gut. A small whimper escaped his mouth as the pain set in once more. This was far too familiar, it seemed no matter how much he engorged, nothing satisfied him for long. So, this meant others had to sacrifice themselves as a whole for his benefit....

Shaking the troubles away, he began to sniff at the air; looking for the closest thing that would do for a meal. Something ahead of him caught his interest. He couldn't decipher what the scent was, but he was sure whatever it was was edible. Slowly approaching the location, the tall figure slipped from tree to tree, staying hidden in the shadows. After a few moments of quiet stalking, Trevor saw the being up ahead. Pausing in his tracks, he crouched behind some of the undergrowth. Yellow eyes peering from the skull mask, he kneaded his bony knuckles over his chest. It's.. It's alright... you can do this. He mentally reassured himself while the angular hands drifted down to the knife on his belt. Clutching the hilt, he pulled the serrated blade from its sheath with a quiet rasp.
Now he just had to wait for the right time...

The slight breeze ruffled the extra feathers scattered around the harpy's body, mainly the feathery mane on their neck. They smiled gently, lifting a small item, an instrument box , to be specific. They loved instruments, that was for positive.

This was their flute. A wooden flute, not their regular solver and brass flutes. They had carved it by hand, by guidance of their best friend, who had recently passed with an unknown cause. Supposedly. She was a mermaid. A gold and green one, and a courtier for queen airia. The harpy knew her death was still being mourned by many. But they couldnt seem to hold on that long. They knew she was happier now. Hopefully the siren's curse didnt get go her...

Nevermind that. The harpy sighed, raising the flute to their lips, before playing. A small tune, but one well known by forest dwellers. The song of the fae. Their mother, Darleen, had taught them. It ran in their blood, apparently... They sighed, giving a small smile as they continued to play, spreading their large wings and raising their head, not noticing the man behind them as they flicking their ear.
