Cora yawned, she couldn't believe that her teacher decided to assign her extra homework just because she had missing her assignment by a day, and although she held no value for homework her parents insisted that she did the draft that evening, and so now, after an entire day of school and running on three hours of sleep, she needed this coffee.

She lazily shoved the glass door open and made her way up to the counter, making quick work of her order before taking a seat at one of the window tables. Honestly, how did her teachers expect that she would be able to complete an essay in two days? She huffed, and pulled our her laptop, shifting her brown hair out of her face.
