Default Re: ThunderClan Stormcrest

Dovefluff & Lotuskit

Another meeting.

The last few days had been hell, and Dovefluff felt dead on her paws. Skykit was missing from her nest, Heronkit and Hollowkit never returned to her. Out of her four kits that she had carried from ShadowClan, only Echokit remained, and she hadn't seen her daughter at all lately. The physical pain of her children being torn away by fate was taking a toll on the queen, and she padded weakly out to where their leader had them gathered. Deep blue eyes were red and smarting from crying in her empty nest the night before, not getting a wink of sleep. She had gone tearing through the territory earlier, searching for her missing litter, but to no avail. Vainly crying out their names, only to be faced with silence.

And then there was Darkpetal. Finding the mangled corpse of the warrior she barely knew had been the straw that broke the camels back, and she felt like she was being held together by a thread. A sinew holding her together. She was exhausted. And she looked up at Bumblebreak- or it was Bumblestar now, she assumed, pleading with the cold ancestors that this meeting would be less stressful. Quieter. Calmer. Hopefully everyone's ambition to grab one of the three authoritative ranks would make them less loud. Less... aggressive. The queen felt like her heart was missing four different pieces. She felt hollowed out, defeated. She came running to this Clan to escape the bloodied, unsafe pine forest for a better life for her kits, and what happened instead? The earth swallowed their camp, she almost suffocated, and now her kits were missing. Oh, and lets not forget the half eaten body she had found.

She had a sneaking suspicion that the string holding her together were the children that she had grown to care so much for. They weren't bone of her bone or flesh of her flesh, but still miraculously were the beat to her heart. Straightening up, she searched the crowd, and soon found little Lotuskit. Or... Lotuskit found her, sprinting through the cats and diving to nestle herself in between Dove's front paws. Purring tiredly, patting Lotus on the head, Dove looked around for Lightningkit or Springpaw, or any of the many children in ThunderClan she had grown to care about.

Fireflykit

The scrawny tortoiseshell timidly stepped away from her nest by the warrior's den, blinking up at the tabby on top of the Thunderw- Stormcrest. She knew she wouldn't become an apprentice at this meeting. Because no matter how hard she tried, none of her teachers for the classes actually taught her. So she just sat off to the side, and looked around for Goldenpaw or Asterdance or someone to sit by. She wasn't going to be alone this meeting, nope! Today she was going to sit with someone and talk to someone, something formerly something she would've shied away from- socializing.

Progress.
