High Rank Announcement [#hrannouncement]

This was going to take a long while to get used. As soon as she had settled what business she needed to take care of, the leader, leaped upwards onto the thick branch of the maple tree she had decided to dub as WindClan's Galewood. Her claws dug into the bark, tail swing out to balance her. She knew she wasn't going to fall, and had no problems with heights, but there was something so different about being stuck seated on a tree branch over the flat, solid surface of a rock. It was uncomfortable, she'd adjust, just like everyone else, but that did not wipe away the stern front on her face nor how her fur would bristle as the branches above her shook when a strong gale surged through the camp.

Little by little, the clan seemed to be adjusting to life in their new camp and new territory. It's been some time since Twilightstar called a meeting for promotions, reassignments, and just to all around inform the clan about anything going on. The announcements she made back in their old territory, their own, she had taken for granted the normalcy of everything until it was no longer there.

"WindClan, gather beneath the Galewood for a Clan meeting." Twilightstar yowled from her perch, alerting all the cats within the camp and clearing. Perhaps seeing the clan gathered around her will put her more at ease.

The leader did her best to try and look like she had been in a tree before, but the fluffed-up pelt and the way her tail fur was bushed out said otherwise. The lilac she-cat give up after a moment, resigned to the fact that she was going to look a fool no matter how she fuss. If the clan found it amusing, she'd take what happiness she could get from them. Not everything that would be told would be grand news.
