Bumblestar quickly crossed the clearing as Pumpkinpatch appeared with two bodies in tow—one, she recognized as Galepaw with a sharp pang, and the other she didn't know at all. She was very quickly becoming irritated with these back-to-back losses. Not even grieving, just irritated.

"I don't care what you do with the ShadowClanner's body," she said flatly after a moment, glancing at Ripplepaw and then back to Pumpkinpatch. "Leave it at the border for them to find, for all I care. Just get it out of here."

If Pumpkinpatch got shredded lugging a dead ShadowClan apprentice around the pine forest, then that was the warrior's own fault. Bumblestar ran her tongue over her jaws and moved away to make space for any of the others who wanted to pay their respects.

Pumpkinpatch nodded, figuring the leader was irritated at the clan's rapid losses, oh well. She left Galepaw next to Ripplepaw as she turned heel and left with the Shadowclan apprentice.
