A sigh.

"It's hard to tell. If it was a rogue, then why would there be a planned attack specifically against Darkpetal? It... it doesn't make any sense." Gentledoe shook her head and looked forward once more. "Regardless, we need to be sure our territory is clean of any lingering rogues. Even if we have to resort to more... violent methods."

As she spoke, the scar on her cheek seemed to tingle. She ignored it, however, slinking quickly through the undergrowth. So far, nothing. Whatever had killed Darkpetal seemed to be gone.

"Dammit," she cursed under her breath. On one paw, it was good that there had been nothing to see so far. On another, they had no idea who or what had committed such a gruesome act- or if they would do it again. Stopping once again, Gentledoe's tail lashed in frustration.

"Do you two see any signs?" she asked.
