Wolfpaw glanced up, a bit surprised to hear his name called. He supposed it did make sense that he was getting a new mentor, it had been a bit since he had seen Orchidbriar. That did make him a bit sad, he hoped she was doing alright.

He stood, following what he had seen other reassigned apprentices do, and made his way to Gentledoe to… greet her, he guessed? “Hello.” He wasn’t really sure if he was supposed to say anything else? He’d let her lead, see what questions she had.

Surprise flashed through bicolored eyes at the sound of her name. Oh!! She was going to be receiving an apprentice, how wonderful! Gentledoe stood, though she sat down again once she saw Wolfpaw approaching her already. A smile curled at her lips, fluffy tail flicking in greeting.

"Hello, darling. It is a pleasure to be entrusted with your training," she purred, "May I ask what training you currently have, or what you are looking for? This will allow me to assemble a plan for our future training sessions." Being as he had been reassigned to her, he surely had something done, right? Hopefully, at least. It would be so very dreadful if he had been neglected- though Gentledoe felt a spark of sympathy in her for the tom. Whoever his former mentor was, she hoped they were alright.
