High Rank Announcement [#hrannouncement]

No questions. Great.

Bumblestar glanced up briefly at the sky as a single drop of water hit her square on the nose. More started to stain the slab of stone she perched on. ...Irritating. She hadn't been expecting a drizzle today. New-leaf rain, she supposed.

Curling her tail over her flank, she returned her attention to her Clan and carried on. Hopefully this would be something to catch their attention.

"Movin' on, to the topic of Keepers. Not much has been done with them, so I'm switchin' things up a bit. You're now able to challenge Keepers for their ranks, provided you swing it by me first with the cat you want to challenge and why. I'm free to deny the challenge if I don't think you're fit for the rank or if your reason is just stupid. Challenges'll take place during meetings, 'n the participating cats are free to do it claws in or claws out. Up to the Keeper; as long as you're not tryin' to kill or seriously maim each other, I don't care. The Clan can judge if they think the challenger is fit for the rank or not after the fight is over, but ultimately I've got final say, so don't come whinin' to me if I say 'no' after others have said 'yes'. This doesn't mean you can go around challenging Flameheart for her Head Keeper position; that's a privelege only for current Keepers. Keepers will also be in charge of the kit classes; they can enlist help from others, but they're runnin' the show for the most part.

"Apprentices, if there's vacant spots in the rank, and you really impress me during your training, you can skip the whole warrior thing and get right on up there."

Maybe an incentive would get the new apprentices to get a kickstart on their training.

"Additionally, with Roosterflame having disappeared, Flameheart is pretty much Head of Nothing right now. So Asterdance, Spiderthroat, Gentledoe, Sootfur—I'm appointing the four of you as ThunderClan's new Keepers. You’ve all been solid as far as I’ve been able to see, so keep that up, help me get things in order.”

She made certain to gesture at Asterdance, then the other three mentioned, and then Flameheart with a paw, hoping they would get the gist of it. Then she would take a moment to let the others acknowledge or congratulate. Hopefully it wouldn't turn into arguing.
