Dandelionhaze rolled over onto his back in the middle of the clearing, kneading at a ball of moss with his front claws. He was BORED. And there was no one around to bother. Pout. Pout pout. With a grumble, the big golden tom rolled back over, batted the ball away, and draped his fluffy tail over his nose. He was debating going to bother the leader, but she was SCARY!! And he definitely didn't want to be on the recieving end of that signature glare. Brrr, he was shivering just thinking about it.

Well, that was a sight you didn't see often. A full grown warrior playing with a ball o' moss. For a moment, a frown marred her expression, because Mapleface had the very motherly (in Redkit and Rosekit's case) and sisterly (in Cracklepaw's case) urge to right the tom. Put him back on his feet, tell him to clean up that ragtag fur. Not that the fur was too bad, but Mapleface sometimes was too much of a perfectionist to suit anyone's fancy.

"Whatcha shiverin' for?" The queen asked eventually, wandering over after she'd done her fare share of scrutinizing from afar. "Reckon the weathers too cold?" Funny, that Mapleface ask this. She loved the cold, ironically enough. It was the summer days and blistering heat that got her hiding away in her nest on many an occasion.
