Days had gone by since her attack and not once had her mentor shown any interest in her newly acquired scars. Flightpaw lay at the edge of the clearing with a scowl on her face and her ears back, claws unsheathed and digging at the dirt underneath her. Animosity was a feeling she knew well by now, and her sharp gaze turned towards the leader's den. Whatever Bumblestar was doing, she hoped the leader was enjoying it, because the longer that time passed with no interest in her training shown the longer Flightpaw began to wonder if ThunderClan was even a place to call home anymore.

Deciding though that she wouldn't just sit around and be useless, the dark apprentice got to her paws and lashed her tail. She surveyed the camp to scout for a free warrior to teach her something, less she wanted to be about as useful as a newborn kit. Honestly, nine moons and not so much as being shown the territory in full detail.
