Despite his long fur and the season, the lateness of the evening provided a nice, gentle breeze for the former kittypet to lay in, his head in the air as he enjoyed the peace and quiet afforded by the solitude of the hour. Most of the apprentices he knew would probably be back from training, albeit perhaps tired. Eager to get to their nests. Which meant the apprentices' den would be shock full of nosy kits and chatter. It was enough to make Fudge shudder.
The chocolate point apprentice's tranquility did not last long, as he felt his heart lodge somewhere around his throat at Angry's voice shrieking up something fierce on top of that storm rock she liked to yell at the others from. Alright, maybe he was being unfair just this one time. Angry was mostly being a Loudy this time around, but nobody would be able to blame him for his kneejerk reaction. There was a reason Angry was Angry, after all. Not that anyone else called her that... but who had the time to get bogged down on details?
Emerald orbs narrowing in a deadpanned stare, Fudge turned his attention to the petite rage cat commanding it. He wondered what would happen today. Hopefully no one else was getting booted from camp, and by no one else, he meant him. He didn't want to go back to the city, thank you very much. With an air of indifference that went contrary to his quick heartbeat, the Birman mix curled his tail around himself as a protective shield while waiting for Angry to continue with whatever it was she wanted to say.
