Not being a cat the older warriors worried about had its advantages, namely in being able to laze around a little bit and do more or less what he wanted after his duties for the day were finished. The calico was something of a wanderer at heart, wanting to scout more than he wanted to hunt. See what lay beyond the paths his mentor took him.

sparrowfur felt another purr rise in her throat. she decided she liked this one. his nervousness was not unexpected but sparrowfur still felt some sympathy towards him. she hoped spottedfire would settle in nicely.

sweet little fella she thought fondly, oh there i go again, acting like im halfway up on silverpelt.
