How stupid was this kid? Like he had seen any real monsters. Batpaw, however... Oh, he'd seen monsters alright. Twoleg monsters like no other clan cat had ever seen! Cold, hard, shiny pelts and giant claws that stung like something fierce... This little idiot had just barely left the nest! Nothing has threatened his little life, like, ever! Until right now, anyway. Because Batpaw was going to be the menace threatening his life. For fun. For now.

"A weak little kitten like you has never even seen a monster... With their gnashing shiny jaws and burning scent... You'd see one and go running for your mommy, hahaha!"

Oh, it was just too good. Look how cute and brave he was trying to be! It was lame. The effort was sooooo drab. It would be way funnier if the kit was scared out of his mind but he guesses that he's gonna make it difficult, huh? Finally finished enjoying his good laugh, he reaches forward to place a paw atop Sprucekit's head and push it into the ground. Losers like him should bow, anyway. Even if he's kinda fun sometimes.

Sprucekit shook himself from the larger apprentice's paw. He blew up the fur that he had pushed down on his head. His eyes seemed to light up at the mention of the monsters. Batpaw acted like he'd seen one! Surely he had, someone as cool as Batpaw must have thousands of good stories.

"You've seen a moneter?" He squealed "What was it like? Is it really as big as everyone says it is? Where you scared? Was it scared of you? I bet it was!!" Sprucekit bounced around Batpaw like a gnat. Surely he couldn't say no? No-cat ever said no to Sprucekit.
