She had always liked Sourpaw. Some cats had tried to tell her that her apprentice was a bit sassy and sarcastic. Sparrowfur prided herself on being one of the few cats Sourpaw seemed to tolerate enough to sit down and have a conversation. She looked at her with warm delight.

The she-cat's tail flicked happily. "I'm glad he's getting better!" She purred and heard her talk about the war, her face visibly getting fearful but quickly returned to normal. "Oh, you know, the usual apprentice mischief!" She said as a little joke.
