Sparrowfur chuckled and ruffled Sourpaws fur "Atta girl, don't get caught you hear me?" she returned a teasing tone. "Can't have my favorite apprentice getting in trouble can I?" she smiled.
It pained her to see the fear in her face. She was far too young to participate in this war. In all honesty, it was the reason Sparrowfur had postponed Sourpaws battle training. The looming threat of death hung over everyone, but the younins shouldn't be aware of that. They should be out causing mischief and playing mossball, or pretending to be rabbits and leap through the meadows. Sparrowfur did her best to keep face, for her apprentices sake.
