Shockkit jerked upwards at the sound of foxes. "I wanna go! I'm going! I'm gonna chase off all those nasty foxes!" She started pawing the ground and clawing at imaginary enemies. She accidentally hit Sparkkit in the snout.
Sparkkit tried to memorize every single little word Bumblestar said. Unfortunately he was too young to go and deal with the foxes. He was about to head into the nursery when he got smacked in the face. "Shockkit! What are you doing?" he whisper-shouted at his sister. "Can't you keep still for one single fricking meeting?" he asked, exasperated at her restlessness. "You're embarrassing yourself, me, and the whole of ThunderClan with your behavior! You should be ashamed of yourself," he scolded.
Shockkit was surprised by the fierceness in her brother's voice. "Damn, chill," she replied. "It's not that big a deal. Sheesh." She turned to her leader, hoping that Bumblestar would let her go fight the foxes.

Ugh. Squealing. Bumblestar glanced over her shoulder as a miniature furball piped up about wanting to go fight the foxes, before turning around to stare blankly down at the pair of them.
"You." She reached out to lightly give Shockkit a tap on the top of her head.
"A fox would eat you in a single bite. If you wanna play bait, be my guest, but your folks will wake up the next morning to one less kit." She leaned down to be eye-level with the kit.
"So I advise you stay in camp. Unless you wanna get all crunched up?"
