The calico lifted his head as the topic of Hornets, realizing that oh! That's what they were, their name had changed. Bee topic huh? Letting out a snort the tom listened as Bumblestar spoke. His expression drooping slightly as Asterdance was mentioned. First his...he'll admit it. First his kit's gone and now? His Sun? The leaders announcement of him being the new Head Hornet rolled over him, like water beading off a leaf. Lost in the sadness of realizing that he was the last. Wasn't it supposed to be the other way around? He was supposed to die in some sort of battle or squabble a long time ago, not loose those he considered family.

Only refocusing back onto the meeting when his apprentice was mentioned. Ah yes, he'd heard of the stunt that was pulled at the gathering. Although just little bits of it truth be told. Sharp eyes finding the rather prickly tom in the crowd. As the leader spoke on, his smug expression grew more and more. Before long a toothy grin found it's way on his maw. A rare sight to see on the Hornet. Picking himself up, Spiderthroat made his way to the younger. An amused expression on his face.

"So...kit. Did somethin stupid huh?"
