Re: ShadowClan Patrol Place
Darkfall
Shadow Fiend: Inactive | Beefed Up (T2)
___________
Was it worth it? Oh absolutely! Vulturefang’s reaction to being asked if he was a worm was hilariously perfect. Just as he’d expect from the over-serious deputy. To top it all off, Vulturefang didn't strictly deny being a worm, so the younger tom would take that it was still a possibility for the sake of entertaining Glowingkit. it wasn’t often that Darkfall made jokes like this or played around, but a promise was a promise and he had told the young tom at the meeting that he’d ask for him.
The large deputy did have a point though, he needed to get back to work. Turning to his patrol mates, he forced his face into neutrality but he couldn’t hide the mirth that danced within his blue eyes. He cleared his throat before addressing them. ”Sorry about that, a promise is a promise and I can’t make a habit of breaking those, now can I? Let’s get going shall we?”
Turning, he flicked his tail to signal the other cats accompanying him to follow. Oh, that so made up for the assigned to the ThunderClan border. It seemed that his question had gotten under Vulturefang’s skin, and with that, the young enforcer discovered that doing so could actually be quite entertaining. Perhaps he’d bring it up at a later time.
Pushing the thought of out of his mind, he walked out of the camp and began heading towards the border. Okay. Now was the time to get back into serious mode. First thing’s first, go to the border, get back, check on Larkfire. Everything else didn’t matter, he had his fun and now he had to do his job. He was an enforcer, not just a normal warrior, he had to lead by example and keep everyone else in line too. But who said enforcers couldn’t have a little fun from time to time?
[ @Pitou @marshall my next post shall be at the border. Figured I’d at least get this reaction done]
Hazelstripe
___________
The amber-eyed tabby gave Elmshadow a quick nod when he explained the herbs that she and her group would be looking for. Why couldn't he have just said that from the get-go? It wouldn't have been too much extra work to explain what the heck they were looking for, and now she had to use both her and her former mentor's precious time to stop him and ask. Ugh, she was going to have to explain this whenever her patrolmates came over too, wouldn't she? Why couldn't they be on time?
With a roll of her eyes, Hazelstripe awaited her patrolmates patiently. A considerable amount of time had passed since they were called to join her but they never did. Pathetic. Absolutely and utterly pathetic. If one couldn't be on time or bother to help serve their clan by going on patrols, then they didn't deserve to be a member of the clan. At least, that's how she saw it in her eyes. If you were a member of a clan, you were expecting to contribute to collecting herbs, hunting prey, and keeping the clan safe, right? It only made sense that you'd do your share if you wanted to have the same consideration to treatment as everyone else, that was the only way to keep everything running properly. Lips turned downward into a disgusted frown, she lashed her tail impatiently.
Just what was going on in this clan? The warriors and apprentices were lazy as hell! Having waited a while longer, the young warrior let out a snarl of frustration and marched her way out of the camp. If they weren't going to come, she wasn't going to waste any more of her precious time stalling when there were other things she could be doing.
