Flameflicker's gaze shot up, narrowing his eyes at his leader. Who cares that she had a headache? Big deal. His mate was dead. Dead. He would never recover, and nor would she. Bumbleidiot seemed to care more about her stupid headache than a dead warrior. How dare she? She didn't deserve to be leader. What leader does that? Leaders are supposed to support their clan, be the star that shines forever, leading the fricking clan. But here was Bubmblegoof, shrieking and howling and telling everyone to shut up because she had a headache. They had lost lives! Warriors, kits! They had injuries! No, those were all to be tossed like garbage, because our great and mighty ruler had a slight headache. Flameflicker was tempted to leap up and smash the leader's head in. He dug his claws into the grimy dirt to stop. Instead he got an idea. He could take his anger out on the ruthless murderer cracklekit. He could pretend that Vinekit was his mate, Morningsight, and Cracklekit was the killer of his mate. Ahhh. That would soothe him. He looked at the warriors who were already conversing about taking him out to the outskirts. Flameflicker trudged over there, shouldering anyone who got in his way, barking roughly at them, until he approached the group. "I'm coming, and it's not up to debate." He then proceeded to stare with narrowed eyes at all the warriors, challenging them to refuse. He stood up taller, stretching his already massive form even bigger.
