Roseraven was honestly quite surprised. She didn't know if it was good surprised or bad surprised yet. Why give the person known to her clanmates as the family destroyer and baby killer an apprentice? She supposed her recent patrol, if you could call it that, with Bumblestar had raised the leader's opinion of her.
Her blue eyes, often haunted by some nondescript darkness, shifted to the apprentice named Lightningpaw and softened. She remembered being this young. Honestly, what she couldn't remember was growing up, it happened so fast.
"I'm sure you will, Lightningpaw." she said benevolently. She was honestly more concerned about how she'd do as a mentor. She'd been in a few battles and could hunt okay, b
ut still, she wasn't trained as a warrior, but rather a medicine cat.
