Ah, perhaps some good news after all.

Pausing his cleaning of the wound on his shoulder as Bumblestar called out his name for the honorable task of training one of Thunderclan's youth. His last two assigned apprenticeships had gone... Well he wasn't terribly surprised at Mosspaw's disappearance, but Silverpaw had shown potential. Paws crossed this young one would stay the course.

Amber eyes flicked around the clearing in anticipation, however... no cat seemed to be approaching him or looking in his general direction. Stars... They weren't even present, were they? Tail twitching slightly irritably as it rested against his paws, the golden tom sent a long look towards the apprentice den and decided right then and there that Fireflypaw would be receiving a thorough lesson in clan etiquette once they were formally introduced. Not attending a clan meeting... The gall of some apprentices these days...

Calling out the names of the newly appointed apprentices, Lioncrest awaited whatever other announcements were to be shared today while still keeping an eye out for his newly assigned charge.
