Fleckpaw turned around and looked at her sister. She came up to her and purred. "Hi Poppykit, im an apprentice now!" she said twirling in excitement. "oh yeah and my name was changed to Fleckpaw..," she looked a bit upset that her name was changed but she perked up once she noticed her sister again.

An... Apprentice? What was that? Poppykit had to think long and hard about it. Apprentices weren't warriors, no. But they weren't kits like her and Plumpkit and Acornkit and Eelkit either. So what were they? She looked up at Fleckpaw curiously, head tilted. She'd have to ask pap about it later. Either way - her cheeks puffed up - she wanted to be an apprentice too!
"Poppy want to be apprentice too! Can Poppy be apprentice with... With- F...fleck...FleckFleck!?"
She bounded up, trying to match her sister's height as hazel eyes filled with wonder.
"Will FleckFleck teach Poppy??"
The name was an adjustment, to be sure. But... She liked FleckFleck too!!
