Cloverpaw sighed as she dug her claws into the earth beneath her paws, ripping up bunches at a time. Her fluffy tail twitched irritably behind her, catching stray bits of dirt and grass along the way. Her stomach growled loudly, much to the apprentice's annoyance. "Shut up." She hissed irritably, ceasing her dirt digging to place a black paw over her tummy. She didn't need any warriors overhearing her hunger and acting all concerned. Cloverpaw didn't need their sympathy. She needed their wisdom.

Since being apprenticed, she had promised herself not to rely on anyone or anything. Not unless she absolutely had to. That meant no prey from the prey pile unless she caught it herself. Which... might be an issue considering she hadn't learned how to hunt yet. Whatever. Perhaps she should seek out her mentor for some training. Or maybe someone else would catch her first
