They didn’t care and that was clear enough. Murderers, they were murderers to him. Snake pads gingerly out of the learners den. Eyes misty with tears as he walks around the crowd and straight towards their father’s body. Anyone in the way was forcefully shoved out of their path. Mumblepaw is silent, getting down in a laying position and nuzzled the ginger cat’s body. Words couldn’t describe how he felt. The dread, anger and grief all gone the moment he saw their father’s lifeless body. It was washed away in a small wave of emptiness that spread across fang’s mind. Licking their fathers forehead as he mumbled to him. “It’s okay…you did your best, I know that…” The words fading as they went back to focusing on his dead father. One cat stood out of him in the crowd. Two actually, just this one he barely knew. Otterkit was talking about their papa. Mumblepaw could care less, Gingerfrost was their focus. Anyone who dared approach them would have to face the consequences of that, but that was for later. He needed to be buried after this meeting. Larkwing had something to do with his death, but that was a thought for another day. The calico protectively moved the ginger tom’s body close to their own as he licked the fur he could, surely they could bury him and then the Stars that Guide could send him back.
