Lostkit had just walked over to the crowd of yowling cats, her ears perked up with curiosity. If there was drama, she was always there for it! Lostkit had overheard Larkwing saying something about Gingerstar, like... he was dead? What did Larkwing even mean? It sounded like gibberish to her mind. Bumblestar was here, too! ThunderClan's leader was very nice, so Lostkit had heard. Plus, Bumblestar was very pretty!

"Hi, Bumbowstar!" Lostkit called out to the huge leader. She then turned her head to Larkwing. "What's dead? Is it food?"

As Lostkit was trying her very best to be loud over the crowd, some cat started yowling, and it made Lostkit jump back. It was Antlerblizzard, that cat who yowled something else moments before. Something about their mother being killed?

Killed? What's killed?

That was a very big kitty word! It sounded funny on Lostkit's tongue.

"Killed... killed... killed." Lostkit repeated the word under her breath. Her squeaky voice along with her bad pronunciation made Lostkit sound like she was saying keed.
