at first, they meet and get along great and start dating, the relationship will seem fine to start with, until the partner slowly starts to treat ember worse (like being rude or upset at them more, and possibly cheating on them and gaslighting them about it), which ember will rationalise to smokeself
the reasoning they treat ember worse could be for any reason! they were pretending at the start of their friendship or something happened to make them more rude or whatever basically!
the friends will notice ember acting more withdrawn and confront him about smokes mate, trying to get them to leave the cat despite ember's insistence that everything is fine.
i dont have a planned for sure ending for this! kinda just a starting point and depending on how rp goes itll decide how it evolves past this
ember is a 20 moon old exciteable trans masc cat with a lot of energy, and goes along with other cat's ideas before his own. Smoke can be heavily insecure over any suggestion he makes, and so doesn't try to lead in any way in order to avoid rejection. he is pretty optimistic, and always tries to see the best in others.
