The Warrior sat himself down once he realized his companion was also in here. Taking a moment to intently listen to what the other was saying. Right. Even if it did happen, he didn't care. Gingerstar wouldn't do that, surely, wouldn't allow it to happen. Nodding along as Ottersplash spoke.
"Yeah. I'm sorry but I definitely wouldn't poison anyone either. I didn't even know about deathberries. Nor about any of the other Clans, I just got here." he explained, a confused as well as concerned expression plastered on his face. "Are you sure they're not trying to blame a them problem on us? Or maybe someone else's doing? I don't know..." he trailed off, looking down at his paws.

Larkwing nods while listening to both explanations... this is about what she expected to be honest, though, something tells her that Ottersplash isn't being 100% truthful about her side of the story. It's irritating, sure, but there's likely not much Lark can do to get the truth out of her short of torture, and that's a low Lark can vow to never stoop down to.
Sighing, she says "I wouldn't be surprised if this was a ploy to pin something against us, but just to be sure and avoid further conflict, at the very least for this coming gathering, I'm going to ask that Ottersplash stay back at camp this gathering. It was your description Bumblestar gave and you'll be the one she expects punished. You can continue your duties as usual, but I'll inform her that you're to be kept under strict supervision at camp." She waits a heartbeat to observe Otter's expression before continuing. "This won't be true unless you give me a reason to believe the punishment should really fall to you. You can both go now,"

She stared into Lark's eyes as she thought about that question, it held a lot for her to answer. Falconflight was okay for now, she still was a bit iffy with him but he at least started to do some training with her. Something her last two mentors failed to do. "I'm good so far! Falcon is helping me with hunting right now, like actually doing some training unlike the past two!" she smiled. She had some faith in him now to help her get closer to being a warrior, no way she would be left in the dust around here! "Think I need that and battle..." she trailed off in thought of what else she needed before moving on.

"Fighting we can work on, but I believe you held yourself exceptionally well against WindClan when they attacked," this was good news, then. Assured but Springpaw's own assurance in herself, Lark continues with her proposal. "There's some Lionheart positions open, you know? How would you like to fill one?"

Cliffjumper dipped his head in respect before entering Larkstar's den. His long chocolate pelt just barely touched the ground. "Apologies if I am bothering you, Larkstar," he mewed respectfully, keeping his amber gaze steady on his leader. "I just wish to talk with you," they said softly, sitting down. His chocolate paws shuffled in place before his tail swooshed over them.
"I appreciate getting an apprentice last meeting. If i'm being honest," he said, eyes getting lost in thought. "I have wondered about many things, one of them being mentoring. You are a mentor, Right?" the warrior inquired. "What is that like? Do you have any tips that could help me with my apprentice?" Cliffjumper said, saying each thing slowly. He blinked for a moment before licking his chest fur in embarrassment. "Apologies, I am rambling on once again." They dipped their head once more to the leader. "I always seem to ramble on. Possibly due to everything in my head. I always have so many questions, and I like to explore the world for-" he sighed in realization. Get a hold of yourself, cliffjumper! he thought. "And there I go again. Deepest apologies, Larkstar,"

Larkwing can't help but laugh at Cliffjumper's ramblings. "You're very welcome for the apprentice, as for mentoring advice... I think it's important to get to know your charge and approach training with their personality in mind." She smiles and continues on, "Bitterpaw, for example, is a bit of a handful. Hw wants to learn, if only so he can graduate sooner, so with him, more experience and paws on training is better. Mothpaw... I haven't seen her lately," briefly, green eyes cloud with worry. What happened to Mothpaw..? Shaking her head to clear the thought away, Lark forces a smile and continues on, "Mothpaw acts a lot like she doesn't care. I think she's trying to appear more competent than she feels, so for apprentice's like that, let them take the lead and correct and teach as you go."

Selfish. That’s surely how the leader would she her request. That would ruin her reputation, And Sissy’s reputation. The selfish tom- no. They were a shecat. The apprentice wasn’t even used to their new self yet, but even now, it made them happy... This was a welcome change but one she would have to take in stride, they hoped at least. The ginger and white shecat exhales sharply, trying avoid eye contact with the older cat. They wanted Sissy, she just wanted to take back her request and go snuggle with Sissy. Sitting down, a sense of clear shame and embarrassment showing in how she sat. Head lowered and ears slightly pinned.

The request, it seems, is a difficult one for Risingpaw to squeeze out, but Lark waits patiently. And it's a pretty easy thing to grant, too. "Of course I can do that, dear," she says kindly, "how about, when I organize the next round of patrols, I'll make sure to send you two out first ok? Would you be ok with another warrior joining you, or would you prefer just you and Cherry?" Cover all her bases... she'd ask about the type of patrol next, but for now she didn't want to overwhelm them with too many questions.
