Imagine if Pebblesplash become deputy... or perhaps worse, was granted another apprentice at the next meeting. That would be hellish, but Bri was selfish and didn't care as long as she wouldn't be affected. Sue her. Dipping her head, a tight, daring smile worming onto her face, Briar nodded to the leader, rising to her paws. "Thank you, Larkstar, that's all." She waited to be dismissed, if that was all, ready to have a sweet lil chat with her mentor.

"Unless you have anything else for me, no, you're free to go." Lark says, tail flicking with mild worry for how Briar might end up handling Pebble - not that she wouldn't deserve it, but the scene it might cause wouldn't be fun to real in afterwards.
