As instructed, Cherryswirl followed Larkstar to her den, giving a quiet sigh of relief that she, indeed, hadn't just imagined the gesture. To be quite honest, her chest had been burning with an almost... pride...(?) the whole way to the den. And suffice to say... The den had looked exactly the same as when she had last been in here - harping on about that stupid fox patrol to Gingerstar. It all seemed... so inconsequential now. Though, Cherry was still partial to giving Sootpelt the occasional side-eye... Regardless...

"I, uhm," She started, for once tripping up on her words, which she quickly dismissed with a soft chuckle of earnest laughter before continuing, "Sorry, what I meant to say was - I would love to try for one of the Lionheart positions you mentioned during the meeting! What do you think, Larkstar?"
