Wavekit, in her humble opinion, was the best ever at getting information. So, tiny ears pricked for fun, juicy gossip the other kits might be talking about - or better yet, the queens or warriors who hung around the burrow - Wave made quick and easy work of appearing perfectly happy, at ease, and unconcerned, playing with a dead leaf while she tried to get some cool info to share with her siblings.

After being hustled away from the freshkill pile by a very cross Briarpaw (totally not because Shelly had flung a pawful of sand at the apprentice rather than the pile of prey) Shellkit toddled into the kit corner, blissfully unaware of how obnoxious she had been. If anything, she was mighty proud of herself! Flouncing into the area and quickly locating her sissy, she made a big show of rolling over to her sister with a light, airy giggle. "Sissy-Wave! Whatcha doooooing?" She peeped out, attempting to wrap her paws around her sister's necka nd shoulders and tackle her into a hug as she spoke.
