Ugh. Tansyjaw had NOT been planning on attending a meeting in the cold today, but you couldn't always get what you wanted. She was used to it by now. She almost NEVER got what she wanted. Like respectable in-laws. Ick. But her presence was required, or Tansyjaw wanted to think it was, and so she slid past Goatscrunch and out into the clearing, making her way to the crowd with as much of a haughty 'I can't believe I have to do this' air as possible. Too early. Too cold. Her elder-in-arms preferred to voice his displeasure at this vocally, she would do hers with her attitude. And she'd look great doing so, too. (OPEN)

Padding out from the warrior's den, the large golden tome gave his fluffy pelt a quick shake to floof it up as much as possible like a barrier between himself and the cold weather. Amber eyes quickly scanned the crowd for his pregnant mate, but upon discovering her lack of presence his tail twitched behind him with the slightest hint of worry. She was probably (hopefully) resting. Resting in the delightfully cushy nest he'd meticulously created for her. Paws-crossed that nothing was amiss.

However, upon glancing through the crowd he spotted the distinctive form of his family's matriarch (looking somewhat displeased). Large paws brought him swiftly to her side, settling into a regal sitting position beside and slightly behind her. There was enough room that his grandmother could scoot closer if she wished for a large portable heater, but Lioncrest would never dare to make that (or any) decision on her behalf.

"Good morning grandmother," he rumbled, giving his ruff a few quick licks to make sure he stayed as presentable as possible even when he was fluffed out like a pile of golden cotton. "I hope you are staying well in this weather."
