Bumblestar shifted in her spot on the Stormcrest as Lightningkit finally came forward. "From now until you earn your warrior name, you'll be known as Lightningpaw [ @TheLostAmongTheStars ]. Tinypine [ @raggedstalagmite. ] will be your mentor."
She gave Lightningpaw a moment to revel before moving on. Late babies didn't get special opportunities.

I wasn't aware of Spiderthroat's little escapades at the border 'till after I'd already named him my deputy, and in case you've missed out on the last Gathering, they're demanding his head or his demotion." Her tail swatted the rock irritably. "I'm not doing that. The other Clans spent moons walking over us at every turn and I'm done letting that happen. They get neither; Spiderthroat's remaining ThunderClan's deputy. But that doesn't mean I'm willing to start some kind of war over this either.
"StarClan's offered me some very interesting information. Apparently WindClan's been suffering a bout of poisoning as well. Whether or not it's from RiverClan, I don't know. But it's clear they don't have a cure, so since the poison seems to be seeping out of us, Spiderthroat will be delivering the remaining herbs to Twilightstar at the Gathering, alongside doing whatever else she might want so long as it's reasonable. I won't be handing over any of my Clanmates to appease any other cat. Spiderthroat isn't allowed anywhere near the WindClan border unless they start something, 'n I advise the rest of you to be cautious too. Don't provoke 'em - if I catch you doing something stupid, I will be handing you over so WindClan can deal with you." Bumblestar raked a cold gaze over the gathered group. "I hope I make myself clear."
