As his target reacted to being pelted with a frozen mossball, Adder's brain slowed wayyyy down, and his bicolor gaze froze slightly. For a moment, all he could see was how pretty she was, how their eyes matched and how she didn't react like other she-cat's might've- she was playful and competitive about it. But then he remembered who she was, and that totally ruined the moment of awe for him. "Sorry, it slipped!" He boomed out from across the clearing as she squinted at him.

His frosty gaze lit up with surprise and he looked down at his chest as a mossball made impact. Would it be too over the top for him to tackle her into a snowbank? He settled for grabbing a quite large mossball and flung it at her with a small chuckle.

Perfect, her mossball hit! She smirked slightly, already grabbing another one because she didn't want to be unprepared. Her eyes narrowed as she saw the size of his mossball, and she started dodging, but.. too late. It landed right on her beautifully groomed pelt, hard, cold and wet. She shook the water off, shouting a quick; "Heeey!" Fawnsplash said that in a playful way of course, she wasn't gonna cry because of a mossball. The competition was so on.

She grabbed two mossballs, leaping into the air and throwing both of them with a lot of force, hoping that one of them would hit Adderscorch right in the face.
