Riversong didn’t want to go against the words of Bumblestar and their clanmates, but they secretly winced as they watched Moontail get pounced upon.

There are places in the woods where no cat will find you. Run away and live, for yourself and your kits, while you still have the chance. Riversong stood as still as a stone, trying to prepare themselves if any cat needed to be rushed to the medicine den. No matter what Moontail did next, it wasn’t going to be good for the expecting queen.
