Slatestripe padded over to join the group, making a point to pass into Dusklion's vision as he did. He hadn't spoken with his former apprentice yet, not knowing exactly what to say. He did, however, want her to know he was at least here.

Fadingsun took a seat behind Dusklion, wanting to keep a close eye on her. Nobody would be messing with her today, that was for sure. Not on his watch. She'd almost died (again), except this time he hadn't been there to protect her. Guilt itched at him, but he shoved it down.
