Dang it. No apprentice ceremony for Brindlekit this time, and he watched with not insignificant jealousy as his brother and sister were called forward for their ceremonies. Why did THEY get to be apprentices and he didn't? It wasn´t fair! At least, his adolescent mind was fully convinced of the injustice of this, and his small face (though larger than the average kit) contorted into the expression of one who had swallowed something a good bit bitter. It seemed neither Swankit nor Elkkit had come to stand before Bumblestar yet, so the possibility remained that they would be waiting along with him, but knowing them they´d be up there in a moment and annoying in their apprentice-ness. Ugh. He was quite cross, though he kept watching the proceedings. He would cheer, he figured it wouldn´t be a proper thing to do to let jealousy affect his public actions, but he might not enjoy it.
