However, when he looked closely at the other cat, he noticed that his leg was badly injured. Raccoonwhisker made a mental note of it but pretended not to notice for the time being.

he was pulling back- indirectly the shadowclan tom was pulling back- jayfrosts eyes flicked up to the toms eyes briefly, enough to notice he was glancing down his frame. pulling back and he probably noticed how off balance jayfrost stood in order to keep most of the pressure off his leg..torn ears twitched, turning just a tiny bit more forward than how flat they had sat against his skull before. additionally, he let off a bit of pressure, not letting the tom go without a fight yet but also giving a tiny hint to push the situation towards less tensity. "i dont trust you." he snapped, which was more than enough of a 'no' to letting him go, "jayfrost" he then added reluctantly.
